Large and medium-sized H-profiled bar is mainly used to bear large capability and cross-section stability of large building (such as factory, high-rise building) and bridge, ships, starting transport machinery, machine base, bracket and foundation pile.
Item Scale and Content
The project constructs a production line of large-sized H-profiled bar and its subsidiary facilities, to Produce 1.4 million tons of 600-1,000mm H-Profiled bar and 400,000 tons of AU, AZ, BD series of steel sheet pile every year. It also constructs a production line of medium-sized H-profiled bar and its subsidiary facilities, to produce 1.0 million tons of 400-600 mm H-profiled bar and 200,000 tons of AU, AZ, BD series of steel sheet pile every year. These two production lines form the final annual production capacity of 3 million tons H-beam.

Necessity of the Project
Low-alloy high-strength structural steel is for the backward status quo of the widespread use of carbon steel pipes in China. The performance can completely overcome the weaknesses of carbon steel pipe, and replace the low-alloy steel pipe in Japan and USA. Low-alloy high-strength structural steel is one of ten new technologies in building industry maintained by Ministry of Construction. The characteristics of the production are high strength, light in weight, corrosion-resistant and long performance life of the steel tube.

Necessity of the Project
The northwest and northeast regions of our country are rich in oil and natural gas resources, so it is imperative to build large-scale long-distance pipeline. According to the National Planning, China will add oil, refined oil, coal slurry pipelines 68,600 km by 2010, and need welded pipe approximately 27.1 million tons. At present, there are a few of large diameter longitudinal manufacturers in our country, and most of the required steel have to bid and puchase from abroad. Therefore, Domestic large diameter submerged arc weeded pipe will have broad market prospects.

Project construction scale is of annual output 500,000 tons LSAW Pipe, and it mainly constructs 20,000m2 for factory, office building and storehouse. The key equipment of submerged arc welding equipment is imported from Germany, and other ancillary equipment as cutting, grinding, spraying is used with domestically produced equipments.

Clean Coal is the main raw material for production of coke. There are more than 1,200 million tons’s capacity of coking existing in Tangshan and Qin Huangdao areas, together with other industrial production of coal, the total demand for coal is above than 4,000 million metric tons. The location of the project, Sha Heyi town, is within 10 km distance away from several large coking enterprises. The length of haul is short for the product; meanwhile, the project is close to the Beishui Raiway, and also near to the Beijing-Qinhuangdao Railway and Datong-Oinhuangdao rallway, coal supply and transportation are guaranteed.
